摘要

Abstract

Measurement of spin relaxation times is a useful tool for studying molecular dynamics in solids. It has been applied in the studies of molecular motions of sugars, a-mino acids, vitamins, adrenalin and testosterone, et al. Recently, it is also used in the studies of molecular dynamics associated with polymorphic phase transitions and structural dependence of molecular dynamics in small organic metabolites. This paper gives an introduction of spin relaxation times and their measurements with the emphasis on its application in the studies of molecular dynamics of sugars, amino acids and their derivatives.
