Research on the Optimization of Flare Maneuver Control of the Powered Parachute Based on CFD

Abstract
The main factors of sparrow performance are researched aim at the flare maneuver of powered parachute, and the reasonable control laws are summarized based on a lot of experimental results. The longitudinal model of the powered parachute as the foundation, using dynamic mesh technique, the classic processes of flare maneuver are simulated dynamically in FLUENT, the influence of flow angle of attack, the manipulating trip and the manipulating speed on the performance of the flare maneuver is researched. The experimental results show that the trip and pull-down speed are the main factors to affect the performance of the flare maneuver. The analysis indicates the best flare maneuver time and control law are obtained, the control strategy is optimized and a basis is provided for powered parachute aerodynamic analysis combined with the actual control.关键词
