摘要

Abstract

Plant seed is one of the main sources of oil. The seed oil mainly accumulates at later stage during seed development. In addition to regulation by enzyme activity,substrate specificity and protein stability,oil accumulation is also controlled at pre-transcriptional,transcriptionai and post-transeriptional level. Many relevant genes involved in this process form a series of network to regulate the expression of downstream genes. This paper highlights recent advances in the studies of transcription factors,DNA methylation and histone modification, as well as small RNA in the regulatory mechanism of oil accumulation. Progress in soybean research is also provided and discussed.
