摘要

Abstract

Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) possess the high efficiency of energy transformation, environmental friendship characteristics and so on, is regarded as a new important energy close to commercialization. At present, the size and weight of the kind of cells in addition to the cost and lifetime, which are the key factors that restrict the development and commercialization of PEMFC, are increasingly concerned. Especially, according to the application requirements of movable power source from automobile industry and personal electronic consumed product, it is necessary to develop the new PEMFCS with lightweight, portable and miniaturization. In this paper, recent progress in the region of miniaturization and lightweight design for PEMFCs based on the achievements in the present literatures was introduced, and the structure design, technological method and key materials were presented in detail. Finally, in order to determine the research directions, the technology challenge and research trend for miniaturization and lightweight design were also discussed.
