摘要

Abstract

In this paper, with application of Linear Technology multi-cell battery stack monitor LTC6802, a Li-ion battery stack monitoring platform was designed. Up to 12 series-connected battery cells could be monitored with a single board, and more cells could be monitored by adopting a multi-board distributed architecture. Several functions including cell voltage detection, temperature detection, battery balancing, and distributed CAN communication could be realized. LTC6802 has very high voltage detection accuracy, is also highly integrated, and has a very promising application prospect especially in EV/HEV industry.
