摘要

Abstract

When max power point tacking (MPPT) is applied to photovoltaic array, there is a speed and precision contradiction in conventional perturbation and observation method. In order to solve the problem, a new track method, combining constant voltage start method and vary step length perturbation and observation method, was presented in this paper, and its algorithm was verified in MATLAB circumstances. The simulation result shows that it can track the MPPT quickly and precisely, especially when the illumination changes abruptly, it can realize MPPT efficiently and eliminate the oscillation around the MPP.
