Abstract
The vinyl acetate-butyl acrylate emulsion was synthesized by seeded semibatch emuision polymerization with vinyl acetate (VAC) and butyl acrylate (BA) as the main raw material and the TAC and HEA as cross-linking monomer. The products were characterized by particle size tester, FTIR and contact angle tester. The monomer conversion was 98. 3% and the gelation rate could be controlled at about 0.5% when m(VAC) : m(BA) = 3:2, ω(OP-10 + SDS) = 3.5% and ω(APS) =0.6%. The water absorption was decreased to 8.5% and the contact angle between membrane and water was 69. 5° when ω(TAC) was 1.6%.关键词
