Failure of composite wind turbine blade with hydrothermal effects
摘要
Abstract
The gradual failure and failure mechanism of composite wind turbine blade applied to wind load and temperature-humidity load were studied by finite element numerical simulation for the early failure at different temperature and humidity. The wind turbine blade was reduced to cantilever model and the three-dimension model was conducted. The skin, web plate and the main beam were discrete by composite plate element. The three-dimension Hashin failure criterion of strain distribution was adopted for failure analysis. The stiffness and failure behavior of the wind blade structure were studied by using FEA software ABAQUS. The gradual failure and the effects on strength and stiffness of composite wind turbine blade were discussed under temperature and humidity load. The effects of hydrothermal of environment on material properties were widely obvious, which lead to the decrease of strength and stiffness of composite wind turbine.关键词
