摘要

Abstract

The scheme of electrical monitor and management (EMM) systems based on IEC 61850 digital technology for thermal power plants is introduced in detail. One EMM comprises only digital plant-use electric equipments and the other is integrated EMM for combination of plant-wide electric system. The new digital scheme comprises functions which the conventional system does not comprise in the field, such as digital bus-bar differential protection, breaker failure protection, digital high speed transfer device, motor logical protection etc. Moreover, the scheme of the substation comprising electronic transformers and intelligent control terminals can save lots of cable, reduce substation occupied area, raise the level of electrical automation and save investment.
