Abstract

The Jurassic-Cretaceous evolution in Hailar Basin has experienced multiple tenso-shear tectonic-sedimentary reversals, there are a certain different understanding about the reverse periods of the basin. On the bases of the seismic, drilling and surface geological data, the main characteristics of the reverse structures in Beier Lake Sag are deeply analyzed and furthermore the reverse period is calibrated to be the late period ( Late Cretaceous) of Qingyuangang Formation sedimentation. The accordant reverse period with that of Songliao Basin shows that both of them are controlled by the oblique concourse-shear mountain building of the continental margins of East Asia and moreover the deformation is characterized by "strong in the southeast and weak in the northwest". Through the interpretation of the seismic profiles and the section analyses of the structural evolution history, the late periods of Tongbomiao and Yimin Formations'deposition are thought to be tenso-shear deformation, the dynamics properties are not changed, so they are not defined to be the reverse periods of the structures. The reverse deformation at the end of Qingshankou Formation sedimentation not only provides the channels for hydrocarbon migration/transport but also the traps of the hydrocarbon accumulation, so the calibration of the reverse periods and the studies of the reverse structures possess great significances for the exploration of the oil and gas.
