基于故障确信度的广域多重故障识别新算法
A Novel Wide-Area Multiple-Fault Location Algorithm Based on Fault Confirming Degree

Abstract
In allusion to the difficulty in the identification of multiple-faults for wide-area backup protection, a fault confirming degree-based multiple-fault location algorithm for wide-area backup protection is proposed. When multiple-fault occurs in power system, the nodal voltage equation of faulty branch is analyzed to derive an equivalent fault model, and column vectors of branch current based on this model are formed. On this basis, the least square method is utilized to calculate virtual fault locations of preconceived fault combinations; then calculating and comparing fault confirming degrees of suspected fault combinations, real fault locations are determined. The proposed algorithm is not influenced by fault types and transition resistance, so it can be avoided to rebuild admittance matrix after the fault occurs. The proposed algorithm is easy to realize and its calculation burden is less. Both correctness and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm are verified by simulation results of New England 10-machine 39-bus system.关键词
