Development and Applications of Three-Dimensional Dynamic and Visualization Geological Modeling System

Abstract
The development of 3D geological visualization modeling system involves a series of methods and techniques such as 3D visualization of geological data, 3D dynamic modeling of geological solid and professional geological space decision analysis. The authors have developed a 3D geological modeling system of the high and dramatic performance of reconstructing 3D geological solid. This system named QuantyView employed a variety of spatial interpolation methods, for instance, the non-uniform rational B-spline (NURBS) and the Kriging interpolation, a lot of modeling methods based on different data sources which may be borehole data, section data, scattered points data or multiple-sourced data, the general mesh simplification method based on simplex collapse (GMS) and Grid +CSR-Tree index structure. The practical applications of QuantyView in many different areas show that the construction of "Glass Land" of China is very important for improving the informatization of the geological exploration.关键词
