粉末冶金钢中的Cu
Copper in P/M steels
摘要
Abstract
Over the years ferrous powder metallurgy has emerged as a cost effective and important means to fabricate complicated components to high precision with excellent mechanical properties. Besides carbon, copper is the most widely used alloying element in ferrous powder metallurgy. Although copper has a detrimental effect in wrought steels, it has a significant strengthening effect in sintered steels. Since copper promotes growth during sintering and it has a tendency to segregate in iron mixes, resulting compositional variations between compacts can give rise to substantial scatter in as-sintered dimensions. This segregation can be effectively prevented by bonding copper to the iron by different means. In this overview both the mechanical properties and dimensional tolerances obtained with different alloying systems containing copper are assessed.关键词
