摘要
Abstract
Objective;To explore the feasibility and clinical curative effect of using single stapler for making total mesorectal excision to rectal cancer patients. Methods: Nine rectal cancer patients underwent laparoscopic total mesorectal excision using single stapler from Jan. 2009 to Dec. 2011. Results: All operations were successfully completed with no conversion to open surgery nor ventral and pelvic viscera injury. Intra-and postoperative pathological examination proved no tumor cells remain at the stump. The duration of operation was 180-305 min,with an average of (243. 9 ± 43. 4) min. The intraoperative blood loss was 30-100 ml,with an average of (51. 1 ±20.0) ml. 5-12 lymph nodes were resected,with an average of (7.9 ± 2.7) lymph. The postoperative hospital stay was 10-17 days,with an average of (13.4 ± 1.9) days. The postoperative convalescence of intestinal peristalsis was (44.0 ±12.3) h. No anasto-motic bleeding nor leakage occurred. All patients were followed up,No Local recurrence nor distant metastasis occurred during a 3-20 months' follow-up. Conclusions: Laparoscopic total mesorectal excision using single stapler is a feasible and economical procedure.关键词
