摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of sevoflurane under 0. 5 MAC on cell apoptosis and expression of phosphorylated JNK1/2 and ATP synthase (3 subunit in new born rat cerebral cortex. Methods Sixty neonate rats (7 -day old) from 6 litters (10 pups from each litter) were randomly assigned into 4 groups. The rats were exposed Lo 1.8% sevoflurane or air as control for 4 h in sevoflurane groups and control groups, respectively. The blood sugar and blood gas assessments were carried out with cardiac puncture. After 2 - hour and 3- day recoveries, the brain tissues were obtained for assessment of phosphorylated JNK1/2, ATP synthase β subunit and Caspase - 3 using Western blot. Results Sevoflurane exposure did not affeet blood sugar and ABG result in neonatal rats, but Caused significantly temporary Caspase - 3 elevation by 419. 9% ( P 〈 0. 05) and reduction of ATP synthase β subunit by 39. 6% ( P 〈 0. 05) after 2 h recovery, which were all reversed after 3 d recovery. There was no significant change of phosphorylated JNK1/2. Conclusion sevoflurane exposure induces temporary apoptosis in neonatal rat cortex, probably via depression of ATP synthase β subunit.
