Abstract
Objective To retrospectively analyze the effects of the morning blood pressure surge (MBPS) on residual renal function (RRF) in peritoneal dialysis patients. Methods A total of 125 peritoneal dialysis patients were divided into 2 groups based on the MBPS in ascending order MBPS group ( Group A, n = 62) and NMBPS group ( Group B, n =63). The clinical symptom score, urea clearance index (KT/V) , RRF, the residual creatinine clearance (Ccr) , u-rine volume (Uv) , and periloneal dialysis ultrafiltration volume (UFv) 6 months after periloneal dialysis were analyzed. Results Afler treatment, the clinical symptoms in both groups were significantly relieved, while it was significantly more prominenl in Group B (P〈0.01). Moreover, there were also significant alleviation in KT/V, RRF, Ccr, Uv, and UFv in both groups, though it was significantly more prominent in Group A ( P 〈 0. 01). Conclusion The MBPS is positively correlated to residual renal function decreasing in peritoneal dialysis patients.关键词
