Abstract
Zirconia toughed alumina (ZTA) ceramics was prepared by injection molding technology, and the influence of solid loading on rheological properties of feeding, as well as sintering and mechanical properties of ceramic was systematically analyzed in this paper. The results show that viscosity and non-newtonian index of feeding increased linearly with the increased solid loading find viscosity increase sharply when solid loading got to 65vol%. The density of the green compacts also increased linearly with increased solid loading, however sintering shrinkage decreased, especially when solid loading got to 65vol% , which is due to the fact that the big pore defect existed in the green compacts after removal of organic vehicles. When the solid loading was 60vol% , the bending strength of sintered body reached to its maximum, and it can be concluded to be the best for injection molding of ZTA ceramic.关键词
