Abstract
The glass-ceramics with the anorthite, augite and nepheline as the crystalline phases were prepared with coal fly ash, limestone and sodium carbonate by a two-step sintering process. Effect of crystallization temperature (850-1 100 ℃) on the crystallization behavior, microstructure and properties of glass-ceramics samples were analyzed by means of differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and other methods as well. The results show that the contents of anorthite and nepheline firstly increase and then decrease with the increase of the crystallization temperature, while, the augite content increases invariably. Also, the crystal grew up gradually, and its morphology changed from spherical grains to prismatic crystals and finally grew to a mature flake microcrystalline with increasing the crystallization temperature. The increase of crystallization temperature can improve the sintering densification of the coal fly ash glass-ceramics in a certain range. The glass-ceramics samples with the highest linear shrinkage rate (17.04%), highest bulk density (2.76 g/cm3) and the minimum water absorption (0.01%) were obtained by crystallizing at 950 ℃. However, the extortionate crystallization temperature (> 1 100 ℃) could prevent the sintering densification.关键词
