广西蔗区新台糖22号种性退化现状分析及对策措施
Analysis and countermeasures of the degradation status of sugarcane variety ROC22 in Guangxi

Abstract
[Objective]The cause of traits degeneration in the sugarcane variety ROC22 was investigated and analyzed in order to propose relevant countermeasures for promoting the healthy and sustainable development of sugar industry. [Method)An investigation was conducted. According to the census, the degradation conditions of the variety ROC22 were analyzed and the corresponding countermeasures were put forward. [Result]Causes of ROC22 degeneration included: promotion duration lasted too long, which caused for serious diseases accumulation; unable to perform effective rotation; failure to supply enough healthy and virus-free seedcanes; perform inappropriate management on seedcane supply; pay little attention to variety; lack of thoroughbred base for seedcane propagation. [Conclusion]In order to promote the healthy and sustainable development of sugar industry in Guangxi, it was recommended to accelerate new sugarcane breeding and technological innovation, establish and perfect the system of healthy seedcane production, construct sugarcane and breeding base, pay more attention to the demonstrative extension of new elite sugarcane varieties, integrate government resources , and form uniformed input and subsidy system.关键词
