利用SSR分子标记研究苦瓜资源的遗传多样性
Genetic diversity analysis in bitter gourd germplasm resources based on SSR molecular markers

Abstract
[Objective]The present experiment was conducted to study the genetic diversity and relationship amongst different bitter gourds (Monodrama charantia L.) varieties in order to provide reference for the innovation and cultivation of new bitter gourd varieties. [Method]Using 16 pairs of SSR primers and the SSR molecular markers technology, the genetic diversity of 50 bitter gourd samples was examined and the cluster analysis was performed. [Result]A total of 90 al-leles were amplified with 16 SSR primers, and the average values of polymorphism loci percentage (P) , genetic heterozygosity (He), effective number of allcles (Ne), Shannon-Wiener index (H'), polymorphism information content (PIC), and genetic similarity coefficient were 97.78%, 0.853, 7.728, 2.087, 0.834, and 0.706, respectively. The UPG-MA cluster analysis results showed that the 50 bitter guard samples could be clustered into 6 groups. The second group included 18 samples and 2 subclasses, which was the most genetically abundant and diverse group with the largest number of subjects. The second group also contained 3 types of balsam pear. [ Conclusion ] Since the genome was complex and the genetic information was ample amongst the 50 tested bitter gourd materials, directional continuity breeding played important roles in the accumulation of bitter gourd traits.关键词
