摘要

Abstract

In this paper, the necessity of using electronic current transformer for transient protection in UHV power system is discussed. The electronic current transformer with the accuracy class of TPE and its test conditions are introduced. The test system and test method of instantaneous error of electronic current transformer are presented and used to test several 110-800 kV electronic current transformers, and the results meet the international and the IEC standards for instantaneous error test. Compared with the existing test system, the difference between the maximum peak instantaneous errors is less than 0.5%.
