Abstract
Objective: To explore the efficacy of miniature titanium plate internal fixation combined with intermaxillary traction in mandibular fractures. Method: 63 patients with mandibular fractures were collected in this study. The patients were randomly divided into two groups: mandibular fractures miniature titanium plate internal fixation group ( A ) and miniature titanium plate internal fixation combined with intermaxillary traction group ( B ). Follow-up of 3 months, the clinical effect and adverse events was compared between the two groups. Result: The efficient in group A and B was 84.4% and 54. 8% , respectively. There was significant difference between the two groups( P〈0. 05 ) . 1 case in group A appear shift phenomenon. After corresponding fixed, the shift was corrected back to normal. In group B and the remain patient in group A, no phenomenon of rejection, shift, fracture, bone no loose, and bone absorption was found, and no postoperative infection, teeth damage, and other complications was found. Conclusion: It is effective of miniature ti-tanium plate internal fixation combined with intermaxillary traction in treatment of mandibular fractures. Which can improve the symptoms of patient and function of mandible with fewer side effects, and worthy of clinical application.关键词
