摘要
Abstract
Objective: To compare the clinical effect of magnetic attachment and traditional clasp retainer on the treatment with complete over-denture. Method: 60 patients with complete over-denture were selected, and divided into two groups randomly. Patients in the observation group received magnetic attachment and patients in the control group received traditional clasp retainer. The satisfaction of patients and the perio-dontal health of abutments were observed after 3 years. Result: ①Comparison results of patient satisfaction showed that there were significant differences on the aesthetics, retention conditions and comfort between observation group and control group(P<0.05). ②The clinical examination of periodontal pocket depth, gingi-val index and abutment mobility showed that there were significant differences between observation group and control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Magnetic attachment in complete overdenture can be used to improve the retention and maticatory efficiency, provide better satisfaction of patients and the periodontal health of a-butments.关键词
