Abstract
This paper selected four raw materials, involving polycarbonate (PC) , homo-polypropylene (PP) , polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and acrylonitrile butadient styrene (ABS) , as subject investigated for studying the effect of notch in the specimen on testing results of Izod impact resistance. The results show that the impact strength mean of injection molding test specimens is the same as milling specimens for PC, but the former has significant fluctuations. However, the impact strength of injection molding specimens is greater than the milling specimens for PP. Besides, the notch processing method, milling speed and the width remaining in the specimen under the notch have little influence on the results for ABS compared with PVC.关键词
