摘要

Abstract

Based on model of residual water level, this study recovered water level of short-term stations in combination of known long-term tide gauge stations and astronomical tide in short-term tide gauge stations by tidal harmonic analysis. The uncertainty of the performance was also considered during the analysis. The results proved possibility to predict the water level of unknown tide gauges by figuring residual water level. In view of a significant correlation existed between daily and monthly averages of sea level in a large spatial scale, tide gauge instrument at zero drift was tested to ensure accuracy of data collection under consideration of its uncertainties.
