Advance in S-101 :A New Generation of ENC Product Specification

Abstract
S-101 ENC Product Specification is a new generation ENC standard based on the S-100 IHO Universal Hydrographic Data Model, which conforms to the establishing principles and methods specified by S-100 _Part 11 Product Specifications, and achieves a precise technical description of the ENC specific applications. The four key matters such as compatibility to S-57 standard, data content and structure, data encoding, and data distribution/protection are analyzed. Due to the development phase of S-101, some thinking about S-101 is discussed.关键词
