摘要

Abstract

The heat of hydration and construction cracks for concrete piers are analysed in this paper, with reference to pier construction crack of a double-track-railway bridge. For general solid concrete piers in railway , tensile stress caused by the heat of hydration can' t be ignored, as it often becomes one of the main factors to cause vertical cracks in the early stage. Then the paper compareed single line and double track railway piers, and fourd out that tensile stress caused by the heat of hydration in single line railway pier is much smaller because the lateral restraint is smaller. The analysis results provide a reference for similar piers.
