摘要

Abstract

" Xingbai" was chosen as the test material, which was a new cultivar of potted Gazania rigens. The changes in relative electric conductivity, proline(Pro) ,malondialdehyde(MDA) and chlorophyll contents of "Xingbai" under drought stress after 1-16 days were determined to evaluate its drought resistance. The results showed that under the treatment of not watering in 13 days, ' Xing bai' could still resume growth soon after rewatering, but they all died without watering in 16 days. In each group,there were great changes in resistance physiological indexes, the proline and MDA contents reached the highest on the thirteenth day of treatment. These results provide useful references for landscape application of "Xingbai" in Suzhou area.
