摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of laser in situ keratomileusis to correct high myopic astigmatism in patients with suboptimal best spectacle-corrected visual acuity ( BSCVA ). Methods Twenty-six eyes of consecutive patients with suboptimal BSCVA and high myopic astigmatism of 3 diopters or more were intervened by excimer laser in situ keratomileusis surgery, and main outcome measures with NV. Results The mean of naked visual acuity ( NV ) in preoper-ative period is ( 0. 19 ± 0. 09 ) ( range, 0. 10 to 0.40 ) , and the mean of BSCVA before surgery is ( 0. 68 ± 0. 12 ) ( range, 0. 30 to 0. 50 ) in all patients. Compared with preoperative NV and BSCVA, the NV is improved significantly after surgery ( 1 month after surgery:0. 92 ±0. 15 , 6 months after surgery: 0. 97 ±0. 07 )( P <0. 05 ). Conclusions In eyes with high myopic astigmatism and suboptimal preoperative BSCVA, excimer laser in situ keratomileusis may result in a significant improvement in NV.关键词
