Abstract
Purpose To investigate the age, proportion and clinicopathological features of retroperitoneal tumor by studying clinical and pathology data. Methods The clinical and pathologic data were analyzed in 112 cases of retroperitoneal tumor. Results There were 34 cases of adipose tissue tumors ( 30. 36% ), 18 neurogenic tumors ( 16. 07% ), 8 paragangliomas ( 7. 14% ), 6 neurotodermal tumors ( 5.36% ), 12 fibriblastic and myofibroblstic tumors ( 10.71% ), 11 leiomyosarcomas ( 9.82% ), 6 histiocytic tumors ( 5. 36% ), 4 lymphomas ( 3. 57% ), 3 gastrointestinal stromal tumors ( 2. 68% ), 3 germ cell tumors ( 2. 68% ), 4 lymphangiomas ( 3. 57% ), 1 follicular dendritic cell sarcoma ( 0. 89% ), 1 benign urinary reproduction derived cyst ( 0. 89% ), and 1 mixed sarcoma ( 0. 89% ). There were recurrences in 4 cases of benign tumor after 8 months, 35 months, 25 years and 27 years after operation, respectively. There were recurrences in 44 malignant tumors ( 45. 45% recurrence in one year, and 70. 45% recurrence in two year ), and 2 patients died. Conclusions There are 20 benign tumors ( 17. 86% ) and 92 malignant tumors ( 82. 14% )in 112 cases of peritoneal tumor in this hospital. Adipose tissue tumours are most commonly found, neurogenic tumors are second, and fibriblastic and myofibroblstic tumors are third.关键词
