摘要

Abstract

As continuous development of the transportation in our country, long and steep slope along highway in mountainous area endangers the operation thereon seriously. Combining with the engineering project on the HUHEDILEDEER Section of a first-grade highway in Inner Mongol, the scheme and countermeasures used in the highway design against long and steep slope are discussed. As a result, with running speed theory, such design is carried out dynamically to the extent that taking action and physiologic and psychologic characteristics of driver into consideration, both horizontal and vertical design are conducted to make running speed changing continuously and evenly. At the same time, in connection to the keep-right driving system in our country, the issues which should be paid attention to by route arrangement in addition of some auxiliary facilities, such as truck escape ramps and cooling pool, are put forward for the purpose of safe driving.
