摘要

Abstract

Chimonanthus praecox originated in China and has been long cultivated with many varieties and wide distribution. The traditional plant cultivars database can' t display the locations the standard strains of C. praecox. To solve this problem, a novel C. praecox cultivars database of Nanjing was built. Based on the standard strain distribution data of the culti-var classification studies, the database applied geographic information system ( GIS) and realized the query of spatial information by linking the attribute data with the spatial data.
