Abstract
With the development of automobile technology, lightweight of car is becoming more and more important. Shanghai general motor company had used aluminium hood first in China to reduce the weight of it. Although the aluminium panel had lower weight, the formability of aluminum was lower than steel. Especially solving aluminium panel springback was a great challenge for developing stamping dies. The investagation shows that springback of Al panel hood outer is significantly reduced by means of optimizing flange sequence, adding dripping model and local-step model and so on with the help of CAE. The application of this process methods have reference signficance to volume production of Al parts in automobile industry.关键词
