Abstract
Crack type defect of oil drill rod is the main type of defects produced in the working petroleum drill rod.The check and evaluation of crack type defect is the demand of drill rod's applicability evaluation and the safe use of drill rod.This article introduces the ultrasonic check method,theory and the making up of installations for crack type defect of petroleum drill rods being developed to research.The test result shows that the evaluated error for the height of the crack type defect of drill rods by this checking method is less than 1 mm.Meanwhile,this ultrasonic checking method is an effective ultrasonic testing method and technique for crack type defect of drill rods used in oil field site.The successful research made on this ultrasonic check and evaluation method technology provides good technological support for making an ultrasonic check method standard for crack type defect of drill rods at oil field.关键词
