观赏向日葵新品种‘闽葵1号’的选育
Breeding of A New Ornamental Sunflower Variety ‘Minkui 1'

Abstract
'Minkui 1' is a new ornamental sunflower variety developed by hybridizing, inbreeding and backcrossing. The new variety was confirmed to be a hybrid offsping by RAPD molecular marker analysis. The flower color of ' Minkui 1' is significantly different from their parents with orange ligulate petals, green discs, brown tubular flowers, yellow pollens, yellow-green layered flowers and stable ornamental characteristics. The results obtained from the cultivation at various sites for several years showed that it had a growth period of 88~115 d, Its plant height was 115~172 cm with faceplate diameter of 7.5~8.2 cm, flower diameter of 13.5~15.8 cm, petal number of 33~40, cut flower lifespan of 9~13 d and provided a cutting output of 90 000~120 000 pieces/hm2. 'Minkui 1' could be used for ornamental cut flower production or garden landscape cultivation, or for open ground cultivation in frost-free areas and simply protected cultivation in winter in other areas. 'Minkui 1'was passed the provincial appraisal in 2011. The instruction manual for cultivation is also available.关键词
