摘要

Abstract

The sphene powder was prepared under liquid condition using inorganic salts sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride as a flux, CaCO3 of TiO2, H2SiO3 and SiO2 as raw materials. The factors consists of the types of molten salt, molten salt consumption, synthesis temperature and holding time were discussed. The phase transformation and microstructure of the sphene sample preparation process were characterized using XRD, SEM and other analysis and testing. The results show that the high quality sphene (GaTiSiO5) powder can be obtained with CaCO3, TiO2, H2SiO3 as initial raw materials, Na2SO4 molten salt as a flux, heat treatment at 1000 ℃ for 3 h.
