摘要

Abstract

In order to develop and apply self-lubricating ceramic composites, the Al2O3/TiC/CaF2 self-lubricating ceramic composite were prepared by cold-press sintering. The friction and wear experiments were carried on wear and tear machine. The mechanism of wear behavior and self-lubricating effect is analyzed by scanning electron microscope and energy dispersion spectrum. The results show that the Al2O3/TiC/CaF2 ceramic composite have better mechanism properties than Al2O3/TiC ceramic composite which was prepared at the same conditions. The Al2O3/TiC/CaF2 ceramic composite has lower friction coefficient and lower wear rate than Al2O3/TiC composite. It is evidence that Al2O3/TiC/CaF2 ceramic composite have good wear resistance properties and some self-lubricating effect. The mechanism of wear resistance and friction reducing is the smoother films which shaped because the CaF2 particulate absorbed on friction pairs and brought self-lubricating films. The real touch area of friction surface is increase and some smooth self-lubricating films are formed for reducing more destroy of worn surfaces.
