摘要

Abstract

An organic template borate, [ C4H12N] [B5O6 (OH)4 ], was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. A kind of Ionic liquids called 2-hydroxy-N, N, N-trimethylethanaminium chloride is the template. In addition, the borate had been characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, FT-IR spectroscopy, thermal gravity analysis and luminescence spectroscopy. Its single crystal X-ray diffraction data showed that this crystal belongs to P21/C monoclinic space group,with the following cell parameters:α=9.2546 (19) (A),b =16.855 (3) (A),c=9.2894 (19) (A), β =96.13 (3)°, V = 1440. 73 (467) (A)3. [B5O6(OH)4]- units are connected to one another through hydrogen bonds,forming a three-dimensional framework,in which the template [C4H12N]+ are located. The luminescence spectra showed that it exhibits luminescence emission at 326 nm and 365 ran which is excited at 290 nm. The luminescence spectra of the samples changed after heat-treatment with different temperature. The result shows that the compound [C4H12N] [B5O6(OH)4] could be promising single-emitting-component phosphors for display and lighting application in the white LED.
