Exploring "Kidney Being in Charge of Bone" and "Differentiating and Treating Diabetes from Kidney" Based on Bone-pancreas Axis
摘要
Abstract
"Kidney being in charge of bone" is the important content of doctrine of visceral state and "treating diabetes from kidney" was first proposed in Jinkui Yaolue. In history, the relationship between the two was rarely elucidated. In recent years, osteocalcin, secreted in the process of bone metabolism and acted as hormone-like role, was found that could play an important role in glucose metabolism. It let us have the theoretical basis to think the relationship between " kidney being in charge of bone" and " treating diabetes from kidney". These new discoveries in modem medicine quite meet the theory of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) , and that shows the scientific of the TCM. Nowadays, it needs us to think and explore how to use the existing knowledge to further complement and develop Chinese medicine theory and how to explore the secret of life science with existing Chinese medicine theory.关键词
