摘要

Abstract

In recent years, with the development and sequencing costs reducing, the high - throughput sequencing technology gets full uses in modern agricultural research. It provided new method for breeding new varieties and quality improvement, and speeded up the breeding process. The main application of high -throughput sequencing technology including whole genome de novo sequencing and depth re - sequencing, genetic difference analysis, development of molecular markers, genetic linkage analysis, epigenetic analysis and transcriptome analysis. In this review, the utilization of high - throughput sequencing technology in agricultural research during the past several years was outlined, and its broad application prospect in modern agricultural biotechnology was showed, too.
