摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the association of quinine oxidoreductasel (NQO1) C609T and C465T gene polymorphisms with the risk of endometrial cancer. Methods NQO1 C609T 和 NQO1 C465T genotypes were analyzed by pol-ymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method in 209 endometrial cancer patients (observed group) and 209 frequency-matched control women (control group) , allelic genes were counted and its correlation with the risk of endometrial cancer was analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, the frequency of NQO1 C609T C/C in observed group decreased significantly, the frequencies of C/T, T/T genotypes and T allele increased significantly (all P < 0.05). No significant difference was found in allele frequencies and genotype distributions of NQO1 C465T polymorphism between both groups ( all P >0.05). While menarch age < 15, the frequency of NQO1 C609T C/C in observed group was higher, the frequencies of C/T, T/T genotype were lower than the control group (all P <0. 05); while premenopause, the frequency of NQO1 C609T C/C in observed group was higher, the frequencies of C/T, T/T genotype were lower than the control group (all P < 0.05). Conclusion The NQO1 C609T gene polymoephism might be associated with endometrial cancer, and the T allele may increase the risk of endometrial cancer development.
