摘要

Abstract

On the basis of the Indicator of Hydrologic Alteration(IHA) and combined with the flow spectrum of an overall river hydrological regime, the eco-water demand of river is estimated with the Range of Variability Approach ( RVA) based on long-series historical flow data, and then the eco-sensitive sections of five large rivers in Shanxi are studied as well. The study result shows that the estimated result got from the method given herein is reasonable. Therefore, the method can lay a scientific basis for the estimation of river eco-water demand and the sustainable development and utilization of water resources.
