Abstract
Objective To explore the characteristics of mismatch negativity( MMN ) in schizophrenia and the effect of morbidity frequency on MMN. Methods A total of 35 cases of schizophrenia and 30 cases of normal controls were enrolled. The event-related potential MMN was measured, and the difference of MMN between patients with the first episode and the relapse of schizophrenia was compared. Results ①A11 subjects had obvious MMN in Fz and Cz. The wave shape of schizophrenia patients was irregular. ②Compared with normal controls, the latency had no obvious change at Fz, Cz in patients, but the aptitude significantly decreased at Fz, Cz( P ＜0. 05 ). ③The latency and the aptitude showed no significant difference between patients with the first episode and the relapse of schizophrenia. Conclusion Patients with schizophrenia have cognitive function impairment. MMN is a trait index and is not significantly related with the morbidity frequency.关键词
