Abstract
Objective To explore the expression and the significance of REST/NRSF and NMDAR1 in human glioma. Methods Expressions of NRSF/REST and NMDAR1 were detected by immunohistochemical technique in 54 cases of glioma. Results The expressions of NRSF/REST and NMDAR1 in glioma were correlated with its pathological grade. The expres sion levels of NRSF/REST and NMDAR1 were higher in glioma grade of HI and IV than those in the grades of I and E . NRSF/REST were 2. 9%, 6.1%, 16. 2%, 20. 6%, and NMDAR1 were 6. 2% , 11. 3% , 19. 1 % , 22.7% respectively in Ⅰ, Ⅱ > Ⅲ > Ⅳ grade glioma positive expression rate. The analysis of variance showed difference between the two groups had sta tistically significant (REST/NRSF F=l 278. 93, NMDAR1 F= 516. 69, P<0. 05 both). Both expression was positively correlated in correlation analysis (r=0. 961, P<0. 05). Conclusion NRSF/REST and NMDAR1 would be expressed in hu man gliomas,Which may play an important role in the progression of glioma.关键词
