Abstract
Objective:To summarize the clinical application and safety of intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy in the surgical treatment of ovarian cancer. Methods:21 ovarian cancer patients were treated with intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy after the primary tumor cytoreductive surgery under general anesthesia. The treatment was performed with 3500 ml perfusate ( normal saline and chemotherapy drug) in flow 2000 to 2800 ml/min for 60 to 90 min. Results; All patients received intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy successfully. There were no tumor cells detectedin the 17 patients with ascites after perfusion chemotherapy, whose ascites tumor shedding cells were positive before treatment. There was no significant difference in the temperatures of the perfusate in the abdominal cavity( 42.30 ± 0.25℃) and out of the abdominal cavity(41.91 ± 0.24℃) (P >0.05). The heart rate of the patients increased 8/min commonly and the nasal temperature increased about 1.5℃ generally(P<0.05), when treated with the intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy, While the blood pressure did not change significantly(P>0.05). No discomfort and no complications occurred after the patients treated with intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy. Conclusions: The intraperitoneal perfusion extracorporeal circulatory system used in the present research reaches the basic requlrements of intraperitoneal hyperthermic perfusion chemotherapy in clinical treatment, which maybe helpful to ensure the hyperthermia effects with less impact on patients.关键词
