ERG gene expression in gastric cancer and its clinical significance
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the association between ERG gene and gastric cancer susceptibility, as well as its clinical significance. Methods qRT-PCR was used to detect ERG gene expression in gastric cancer tissues from 120 patients and in 120 samples of normal gastric mucosa tissues. Results The expression of ERG gene was significantly higher in gastric cancer tissues than in normal gastric mucosa tissues (P < 0.001) ; the expressions of ERG gene at stages T4, T3, T2, and Tl gastric cancer tissues showed a downward trend (P = 0.006) , so did they at stages N3, N2, Nl, and NO (P = 0.017). Conclusion ERG gene upregulation increases the susceptibility of gastric cancer, and is correlated with local invasion extent and lymph node metastasis.关键词
