摘要

Abstract

A bus rapid transit signal priority model was proposed by means of the cellular automata model under open boundary conditions. The influences of the bus rapid priority time (the greatest green-light-extended and the greatest red-light-off) , the position of detector and the probability of the traffic flow at intersections with a bus rapid transit lane were simulated. The results indicate that the time delay of bus rapid transit in the intersection is reduced by the rational regulation of bus rapid transit signal priority, such as the greatest green-light-extended and the greatest red-light-off. The proposed method can also reduce the possible inconvenience to vehicles other than buses.
