摘要

Abstract

To the problem of slowness of location of iris, the paper presents a quick solution to locate pupil center and iris position, using polling method and circle expanding method. The paper gives the details of location scheme and implementation flow. Result shows that it has high location accuracy. In iris recognition, the paper presents a simple way to extract iris feature and make comparison. It divides iris into small areas along radical and peripheral direction, calculates average gray intensity of each small area and makes vectorization for small areas. It achieved a good comparison result by using vectorized data.
