Abstract
More and more distributed generations (DG) are being introduced into distribution system, which will have impact on the traditional protection. In this paper, the configuration of relay protection in distribution system before DG connecting to the system is discussed, and the impact of DG on the traditional current protection is analyzed firstly. Then, the models of practical network system, DG and current protection are built by using of PSCAD/EMTDC, and the influence of DG on current protection is verified through the simulation and analysis of different installed capacities and locations, which provide references for the improvement of feasible protection method in distribution system. The simulation results show that the greater the capacity of DG is, the greater its impact on traditional current protection is, and the nearer the access point of DG to the end of feeder is, the bigger its impact on current protection is.关键词
