Abstract
Infrared monitoring system with the superiorities of running in any visible environment and working around the clock is gradually becoming one of the most important development directions of the security monitoring industry. The embedded processing platform designed in this paper takes TMS320DM642 as the core. FLIR thermal imager is used as its infrared video source. The infrared images are compressed with H.264 coding technology after being processed by TVP5150 decoding(chip. The data is transmitted to PC of client via Ethernet. The IR images are resumed timely by the client decoder developed based on Vi-sual C++ platform. The whole system works stably. Its image reduction has high quality. Its average transfer rate is 0.087 MB/s and image compression rateis 7:1, which meet the design requirements of the infrared monitoring system.关键词
